Parish Wildflowers

Several of our parishoners have been collecting a list of wildflowers and plants which are found within our parish boundaries.  Over the next weeks and months a description and picture of each found will be posted on this web site.  To start with we have the mousetail, a plant which is listed as vulnerable on the government's red data list.  Our local botanists were quite excited to find several examples in the field margins of fields near the proposed site of a massive new housing development.  It is very tiny, hence the name.  See below for a picture and description.
